  1. Testing has started on RBBS-PC CPC12.3A.  In this release we will be
  2. trying to implement Special Interest Group (SIG) conferences.
  3.  
  4. The conferences are strictly controlled and membership to a conference
  5. must be authorized by the Sysop or SIG administrator.  If you would
  6. like to join a conference just leave a message to the Sysop and he
  7. will review the applicability of your membership request.

  9. To obtain access to a conference select option "J" from the Main menu.
  10. The system will present you with a list of currently active conferences
  11. and will give you the option of Joining a conference or returning to
  12. the main message base.  Remember you will not be given access at this
  13. screen until the Sysop or SIG administrator has validated your request.

  15. Another final note.  Users cannot download or upload files while
  16. attached to a conference.  It is necessary after joining a conference
  17. that the user return to the conference selection screen and must
  18. select the M)ain message base before file transfers can occur.
